One for the "old guns"- Jay qualified in both styles for this years Empire State Games at 167lbs. Most impressive was his victory over Coach Pickering, a former ESG Gold medalist.

Shamrock Alumnus Troy Nickerson wrestled to a runnerup finish at the FILA JUNIOR World Team Trials in Colorado Springs. Troy fell in the finals to old nemesis Coleman Scott 2 periods to 1. Troy was dominant in the challenge tourney leading up to the finals
